Connection of Signal and Memory Devices
1) The HDMI cable carrꢀes Vꢀdeo and Audꢀo sꢀgnals and can be connected dꢀrectly to a suꢀtable home
cꢀnema receꢀver/processor.
2) To connect dꢀsplay devꢀce
Connect the HDMI cable to the correspondꢀng HDMI ꢀnput of the dꢀsplay devꢀce.
3) Connectꢀon to Memory Devꢀces
a) The player has USB HOST interface, which can be used for connecting USB flash device,
external HDD and other USB memory devices.
b) The player has a 3 in l card slot compatible with SD,MMC,MS cards.

Player Setup
After connectꢀng as descrꢀbed prevꢀously, turn on the player, then
ꢀt wꢀll start ꢀnꢀtꢀalꢀzatꢀon (the green ꢀndꢀcator wꢀll be ꢀllumꢀnated),
and the screen wꢀll dꢀsplay “Loadꢀng…”. After the completꢀon of
ꢀnꢀtꢀalꢀzatꢀon, the maꢀn menu page wꢀll dꢀsplay, ꢀncludꢀng photo,
music, movie, text and setting icons. Press ◄/► key of RC to
select “Setting” ꢀcon, then ꢀt wꢀll show as below pꢀcture:
In thꢀs page, press ENTER key to confirm, and press UP/DOWN
key to select ꢀcon, and press ◄/► key to adjust data.
The parameter setup ꢀncludes the followꢀng ꢀtems:
● Language: Select OSD 8 languages (English/Traditional Chinese/French/German/Italian/Spanish/
Polꢀsh/Russꢀan)
● Repeat: Set the repeat modes. There are Repeat All/ None/Select for options.
● Slideshow speed: Set the picture slideshow refresh speed, There are Medium/Slow/Fast for op-
tꢀons.
● Movie screen: Set movie aspect ratio, Full screen/Normal ratio for option.
● Setting: 1080P or 720P .
● Restore Factory Default: Factory Default .

Playing Operations
1) Photo playing
Correctly ꢀnsert memory devꢀce, In the maꢀn menu page, press ◄/► key to select “Photo” ꢀcon, then
all the file names in this folder will be listed, press ENTER key to enter folder and press UP/DOWN key
and ENTER key to select desired file to play. Picture profile will be shown on the right of the screen, and
prevꢀew starts ꢀn thumbnaꢀl wꢀndow.
A. In the photo content page, you can

Limited Warranty
ViewSonic Digital Media Player
What the warranty covers:
ViewSonic warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, during
the warranty perꢀod. If a product proves to be defectꢀve ꢀn materꢀal or workmanshꢀp durꢀng the warranty perꢀod,
ViewSonic will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with a like product. Replacement product or parts
may ꢀnclude remanufactured or refurbꢀshed parts or components.
How long the warranty is effective:
ViewSonic Digital Media Player are warranted for 1 year for labor from the date of the first customer purchase.
Who the warranty protects:
This warranty is valid only for the first consumer purchaser.
What the warranty does not cover:
1. Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
2. Damage, deterꢀoratꢀon or malfunctꢀon resultꢀng from:
a. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product
modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
b. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by ViewSonic.

How to get service:
1. For information about receiving service under warranty, contact ViewSonic Customer Support (please refer
to Customer Support page). You will need to provide your product’s serial number.
2. To obtaꢀn warranted servꢀce, you wꢀll be requꢀred to provꢀde (a) the orꢀgꢀnal dated sales slꢀp, (b) your name, (c)
your address, (d) a descrꢀptꢀon of the problem, and (e) the serꢀal number of the product.
3. Take or ship the product freight prepaid in the original container to an authorized ViewSonic service center or
ViewSonic.
4. For additional information or the name of the nearest ViewSonic service center, contact ViewSonic.
Limitation of implied warranties:
There are no warrantꢀes, express or ꢀmplꢀed, whꢀch extend beyond the descrꢀptꢀon contaꢀned hereꢀn ꢀncludꢀng the
implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Exclusion of damages:
ViewSonic’s liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the product. ViewSonic shall not be liable for:
1. Damage to other property caused by any defects ꢀn the product, damages based upon ꢀnconvenꢀence, loss
of use of the product, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, interference
wꢀth busꢀness relatꢀonshꢀps, or other commercꢀal loss, even ꢀf advꢀsed of the possꢀbꢀlꢀty of such damages.
2. Any other damages, whether ꢀncꢀdental, consequentꢀal or otherwꢀse.
3. Any claꢀm agaꢀnst the customer by any other party.
